Leadership

Secretary-General and Head Delegate of BCA Model UN Travel Team (2025-2026)


  • Plan and lead 2-day 2026 Academy Model UN Conference, hosting 400+ delegates from the tri-state area
  • Oversee 50+ secretariat, chairs, moderators, and staffers, coordinating logistics and programming
  • Invite and coordinate with guest speaker to enhance delegate experience
  • Expand leadership team from 18 to 25 members; establishing new positions including Social Media Manager and Lead Delegates
  • Select and train co-presidents and lead delegates, ensuring new delegates in clubs receive training and support 
  • Host 4 intensive training sessions prior to college conferences to prepare delegates
  • Manage applications, registration, logistics, and conference materials for all attendees
  • Provide on-site presence at all conferences for morale support and logistical assistance
  • Collaborate closely with faculty advisors for fundraising and advertising purposes

  • coordinated with club advisors to plan club wide events such as bake sales, MUN training sessions, and promotional events
  • mentored underclassmen, providing training through leading simulations during clubs (1hr/week for 3 months), creating educational presentations, and fostering a supportive MUN community
  • trained higher level Model UN through advanced slideshows and presentations, maintaining open contact in order to provide feedback

Co-Director of Internal Affairs for Junior Academy Model UN (2024)

  • selected, lead, and organized 20+ students from Bergen County Academies to be Junior Academy Model UN chairs and moderators
  • guided students to write catered topic guides for middle school students;edited and revised topic guides, provided feedback and staying up to date with any changes
  • provided online information sessions (2 hours) to teach chairing and moderator skills, creating slideshows, and maintaining contact with chairs for questions
  • organized day of scheduling and planning, ensuring all chairs had materials for committee rooms
  • spoke at the opening ceremony
  • created the annual secretariat gift to advisors,spent 5 hours designing and printing gift
  • planned a group dinner to promote and foster a MUN community

  • invited to chair for sister school, Applied Tech
  • lead 20 beginner level high school students through 10+ hours of debate
  • taught parliamentary procedure and guided delegates through resolution writing
  • provided individualized feedback for delegates after committee session to further improve their performance
  • fostered a supportive environment by encouraging delegates to give speeches and setting precedent for diplomacy
